Cook anything amazing lately?

I bet you have. We have, too. When you last heard from me, we just relaunched Epicurious with a new design, new features, and lots of new articles and recipes. A lot have you checked out our new digs since then. Some of you have even told us what you think. Thanks so much!

As we enter the summer, I wanted to send you a personal note about three new site improvements that we're really excited about.

1. Our Newsletters Are Even More Special

If you're getting this email, you probably get one of our newsletters, Recipe of the Day or Recipe Flash. Next week, we'll be relaunching them. The Recipe Flash will become The Top Ten, a weekly countdown of our ten best tips and tricks, guaranteed to sharpen your culinary skills and give you great new ideas. Recipe of the Day will become Cook This Now. You'll still get a great Epicurious recipe each day, but now you'll get a personal note from one of our editors, explaining why they love the recipe so much. You can get a sneak peek of Cook This Now here and The Top Ten here.

2. We Added a Smart Timer to Our iPhone App (and Apple Watch, Too!)

Sometimes, you don't really need a recipe to cook something—you just need the time and temperature and you can take it from there. That's why we created a new kitchen timer, which does precisely that. Just select one of 40+ dishes across five categories, from meats to fish to vegetables, and we'll give you a quick and easy way to cook 'em. If you've installed our app on an iPhone or an Apple Watch, you can get our new smart timer by updating to the most recent version. For everyone else...

Download the Epicurious App from the iTunes Store.

3. We Overhauled the Printer-Friendly Page

This is a digital world we're in, but hey, sometimes nothing beats a piece of paper. We've listened to all your feedback to make the best printer page we could. We made the design more readable by putting the ingredients next to the instructions. And now, you can quickly adjust font sizes and easily add individual recipe reviews you like. Just click the print button on any recipe and start printing!

Epicurious is your site, too. So I'll be dropping you more notes from time-to-time to let you know when we've made changes or launched new things. And you can write back! Contact me whenever you want at eric@epicurious.com and keep those photos coming by mentioning @epicurious on Instagram. We'll repost our favorites.

Happy cooking!
