Honey Garlic Chicken



Sweet and garlicky glazed chicken.
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, loose
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 5 fresh rosemary sprigs
  • 5 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper
  • 8 to 10 chicken drumsticks
Method:
In a large bowl combine the vinegar, honey, brown sugar, soy sauce, rosemary sprigs, garlic, and pepper. Stir well until sugar is completely dissolved. Add this mixture and the chicken to a large, resealable plastic bag and marinate in the refrigerator for 2-3 hours.
Preheat oven to 450 F. Meanwhile line a high sided baking sheet with aluminum foil. Arrange the chicken drumsticks on the baking sheet while reserving the marinade for later. Bake chicken until the skin is well caramelized and a few very dark spots begin to appear. Add the marinade to a small saucepan, bring to a boil over high heat, and then reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes or until sauce thickens.
When sauce has thickened drizzle over chicken legs and return to oven for another 3-5 minutes before serving.
